As a senior at Seven Hills, there will be a lot of things at school that I will miss, but also things I will not miss. For example, I will miss the teachers who helped me learn and getting to leave for lunch as a senior, but I will not miss being told to put my lanyard on every morning, waking up early, getting detentions for being late, and spending the entire lunch period in the study hall room. That is just the beginning of the things that I will and will not miss at Seven Hills.
I will miss being able to go out to lunch with my friends during senior year. These were some very fun times going to places such as Chick-Fil-A, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and Raising Cane’s. I will not miss wearing my lanyard and being told to put my lanyard on, although I understand that it is a safety issue. The lanyards are very expensive and break easily, so I definitely will not miss the lanyards.
I will miss the library and Mrs. Whitt, and even though she is not here, I will definitely miss getting kicked out of the library for being too loud and being sent to the Commons. I will definitely miss the nice cafeteria staff, as I have known these people my entire life because I am a lifer. Every time I go to the cafeteria, the staff greets me with a smile and gives me a friendly wave. I will miss greeting Mrs. Minton with a smile every morning, even on the days that I am late or when I need to go in and get a sticker.

I will miss the teachers who helped me learn, checked over my work, and let it slide when I was a few minutes late to class. I will not miss getting up early in the morning for school when the night before I only got four hours of sleep because I was up writing an essay.
I will not miss the school wifi that is constantly down, and for some reason, always down at the worst times. I will not miss the school’s AC going out in the middle of May, and we have to sit in a hot classroom with no air.
I will miss the friendships that I made on the sports teams and all the great fun we have had over the years, as well as the friends that I do not play sports with, and all the great fun that we have had over the years.
In my 13 years of being at Seven Hills, from kindergarten all the way until graduation, I have definitely had some good and bad moments with some ups and downs, but I have learned a lot, grown as a person, and I would not have wanted to spend my time anywhere else because of the great learning experiences and how I feel set up for success.
