Thanksgiving Break is a time for family and friends to get together and enjoy some time away from school and work. Many Seven Hills students are looking forward to the break for exactly that reason: to spend time with their favorite people including family and friends.
Junior Boden Schoeny is going to visit his cousins; they have a house on a lake, so he will be spending his time there. Boden said, “It’s always a good time to see everyone and catch up.” Boden didn’t wish for anything else. He has his dream Thanksgiving Break by going to see his cousins and hanging out with them. Schoeny used “relaxing” to describe Thanksgiving Break: the perfect time to just “chill” and enjoy good food and time with family.
Sophomore Norman Atwood agrees with Schoeny that Thanksgiving Break provides the time to connect with the people whom you love. He said, “Spending time with my family is more than enough for me.” Atwood’s favorite memory of Thanksgiving break is going to see his grandma who lived in Baltimore. Although his grandma lives here now, he enjoyed seeing all of his friends and family during his time in Baltimore

Students enjoy their time off for Thanksgiving Break mainly because they get to spend time with family and friends that they normally do not get to see during the school year, but they also get a break from school and work to relax. One could argue that because of these reasons, Thanksgiving Break is the best school break, even above other breaks like Spring Break or Winter Break, because the vibe of Thanksgiving Break is so relaxing. Thanksgiving Break is a great time for friends and families to get together and catch up on each other’s lives, enjoy a nice meal , and say what they are all thankful for in their own individual lives.
